Job summary

Client of Careers International is seeking a qualified engineer for DP systems who will review, modify and prepare electrical and automation drawings, and support DP sea trials.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics, AutoCAD proficiency, PLC/HMI/SCADA knowledge, and willingness to travel internationally and work onboard vessels; strong English reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation.
• Knowledge of PLC, HMI/SCADA, and electrical systems.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical design or automation; fresh graduates with strong potential may be considered.
• Good English communication and technical report-writing skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work onboard vessels.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD

• FMEA reports and DP operation manuals
