Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in Naval Architecture / Mechanical Engineering / Marine Engineering.
• Experience supporting EPC or offshore engineering projects is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input related to vessel capabilities during concept selection, FEED, design, and execution.
• Perform basic vessel structural checks using STAAD Pro.
• Prepare specifications and datasheets, interfacing with vendors.
• Collaborate with structural and marine systems engineers for integrated designs.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience supporting EPC or offshore engineering projects is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Familiarity with STAAD Pro.
• Familiarity with ANSYS is an added advantage.
• Shall be conversant with AutoCAD. Familiarity with AutoCAD 3D is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with AutoHYDRO/GHS is added advantage.
• Conversant with SOLAS, MARPOL regulations, Classification Society Rules.
• Knowledge in pipelay vessel operations and DSV operations is added advantage.
• Knowledge in vessel piping system (SLD and detailed drawings, valves, pumps) is added advantage.
• Hands on experience in vessel modification, vessel upgrades and conversions (Pipelay Barges, Heavy Lift Vessels or DSVs) with proven technical contribution.
• Technical involvement in vessel new build.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in project documentation and reporting tools (MS Office, project management tools).

• Prepare specifications, datasheets, and interface with vendors.
• Collaborate closely with structural and marine systems engineers or third party consultants to ensure fully integrated designs.
• Perform Weight Control Management, prepare MTO.
• Prepare technical bid evaluations.
• Shall be familiar with the vessel systems.
• Shall be flexible to travel.
