Khatib & Alami (K&A) in Dubai seeks a Writer to produce clear, engaging content for proposals, reports, marketing materials, and internal communications. You will research project information, draft and edit technical and non-technical documents, and ensure brand-aligned messaging across channels.

This full-time, on-site role requires collaboration with subject matter experts, adherence to deadlines, and contribution to templates and guidelines to support campaigns and corporate initiatives.

Role Description

The Writer role at Khatib & Alami is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Writer will develop clear, engaging, and accurate written content for proposals, reports, marketing materials, and internal communications, aligned with the firm’s brand and strategic objectives. Daily responsibilities include researching project information, drafting and editing technical and non-technical documents, collaborating with subject matter experts, and tailoring content for different audiences and channels. The role involves maintaining consistent tone and style across outputs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines, and supporting content planning for campaigns and corporate initiatives. The Writer will also help optimize content for digital use and contribute to continuous improvement of templates, guidelines, and messaging.

Qualifications

• Strong writing and editing skills for technical, corporate, and marketing content, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Demonstrated experience in research and information gathering, including the ability to synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into coherent narratives.
• Ability to adapt tone and style for different formats such as reports, proposals, web pages, social media, and presentations.
• Proficiency in English with excellent grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital content practices, including basic SEO principles, content management systems, and document formatting tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint).
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field; experience in engineering, architecture, or consulting environments is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a diverse team.
