Could you be the full-time onsite Document Controller in Dubai, UAE we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your document management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates. You\'ll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless management and control of all project documentation, supporting the successful delivery of railway infrastructure projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineers, contractors, consultants), coordinate timely submission and approval of documents, and maintain up-to-date document logs, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Setting up and maintaining document control systems for the railway project.
  • Receiving, logging, tracking, and distributing incoming and outgoing documents (e.g., drawings, reports, specifications).
  • Ensuring all documentation complies with project standards and naming conventions.
  • Maintaining up-to-date drawing registers and document logs.
  • Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
  • Managing document transmittals and ensuring proper archiving of project records.
  • Supporting project close-out by compiling final documentation packages.
  • Conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve document-related issues.
  • Using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as ProjectWise & Aconex.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience or understanding of document control processes, preferably within railway or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as ProjectWise, Aconex.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards and document control best practices.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with BIM and digital engineering environments.
  • Understanding of railway project lifecycle and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of CAD file handling and technical drawing formats.
