Job summary

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading UAE contractor to recruit an experienced DLP Supervisor – Civil for post-handover and Defects Liability Period activities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will oversee defect rectification, coordinate with subcontractors and engineers, and ensure quality and safety standards are maintained throughout the DLP phase.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in civil construction and DLP operations.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing, masonry, plastering, finishes and related repair activities.
• Ability to read construction drawings and ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily civil repair and defect rectification during DLP.
• Carry out site inspections to identify defects in civil works and finishes.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, maintenance teams and engineers for timely completion.
• Supervise repairs involving waterproofing, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting and finishes.
• Ensure all corrective works meet quality, safety and project specs.
• Follow up on client requests and close defects.
• Maintain defect trackers, inspection records and completion docs.
• Verify completed works through follow-up inspections before closing issues.
• Manage manpower deployment and monitor productivity.
• Prepare progress updates on completed and outstanding DLP works.
