Job summary

Mogi I/O in Dubai is seeking an experienced VAT Director to lead and grow our UAE VAT Advisory practice. The role combines technical VAT expertise, senior client management, team leadership, business development, and commercial responsibility.

You will lead complex UAE VAT engagements, manage relationships with CFOs and Tax Heads, develop the practice, drive revenue, oversee delivery quality, and mentor a high-performing VAT team while staying current with UAE VAT and GCC tax developments.

• Lead complex UAE VAT and Indirect Tax Advisory engagements.
• Manage relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Tax Heads, and senior stakeholders.
• Develop and grow the UAE VAT Advisory practice and service offering.

Candidate Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in VAT and Indirect Tax Advisory.
• Strong UAE/Dubai market experience is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of UAE VAT and practical advisory experience.
• Proven senior-level client management and engagement leadership experience.
• Experience in business development and growing client relationships.
• Practice/service-line management experience preferred.
• Strong commercial, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Big 4 / leading professional services / established tax advisory experience preferred.
• CA, CTA, ACCA, CPA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification preferred.
