Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in security, cybersecurity, IT, risk management or related field; master's preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of professional security experience in leadership roles.
• Proven track record overseeing both physical and cybersecurity functions.
• Experience in government, defence, or critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and oversee security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect facilities, personnel, information, and assets.
• Lead physical security operations including access control, CCTV, and incident response coordination.
• Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and remediation initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT and external providers to implement controls (firewalls, encryption, IAM).
• Manage security service providers and vendor contracts with performance reviews and transitions.

We are seeking an experienced Director – Security Affairs to lead and oversee physical security, cybersecurity governance, risk management, and incident response. The role will be responsible for developing security strategies, strengthening security controls, managing external security service providers, and ensuring the protection of the organization's people, facilities, information, and digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Security

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect facilities, personnel, visitors, and organisational assets.
• Oversee physical security operations, including access control, visitor management, CCTV, surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage security service providers, including vendor selection, contract renewals, performance monitoring, and transitions.
• Coordinate physical security incident response with internal stakeholders, external service providers, and relevant authorities.
• Develop security awareness programmes and support emergency response, evacuation, and business continuity planning.
• Monitor and report security incidents, operational risks, and performance indicators to senior management.

Cybersecurity

• Develop, maintain, and review cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures in line with organisational requirements.
• Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and remediation initiatives.
• Coordinate with IT teams and external providers to implement and monitor security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, encryption, and identity and access management.
• Lead the coordination of cyber incident detection, response, investigation, containment, recovery, and reporting.
• Ensure cybersecurity considerations are incorporated into IT systems, networks, cloud environments, databases, and applications.
• Manage cybersecurity service providers, contracts, performance reviews, and vendor transitions in coordination with IT and Procurement.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on cybersecurity risks, incidents, compliance, and mitigation measures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related discipline. A master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant professional experience, including leadership responsibility in security operations, governance, or risk management.
• Proven experience overseeing both physical security and cybersecurity functions through internal teams and external service providers.
• Strong understanding of physical security systems, cybersecurity controls, risk assessments, and incident management.
• Experience in government, defence, or critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in vendor and contract management, stakeholder coordination, and senior-level reporting.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, and decision-making skills.
