Job description

Visa is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales Excellence for the CEMEA region based in Dubai. This role is crucial in evolving Visa's sales approach with a strong emphasis on process improvement and innovative thinking. The Director will help enhance our client‑centric strategies by aligning sales processes with client objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position focuses on driving efficiency, streamlining sales operations and implementing new ideas that accelerate time to close, implementation and revenue. The individual will collaborate closely with client‑facing teams and regional and global counterparts to embed best practices and drive transformative change across the CEMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Innovation: Lead the identification, design and implementation of innovative sales processes that enhance client‑centricity and operational efficiency.
  • Strategic Project Management: End‑to‑end management of strategic projects that align with Visa’s business objectives in CEMEA ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Foster strong alignment and seamless collaboration between sales and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Efficiency Enhancements: Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce sales cycle time, implementation time and accelerate time to revenue.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve sales processes and address identified shortcomings.
  • Data‑Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to support recommendations and drive strategic initiatives ensuring decisions are grounded in empirical evidence.
  • Communication: Articulate clear, concise and impactful recommendations and updates to senior management ensuring alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and refining sales processes to ensure they remain effective and efficient.
  • Future Leadership: While currently not a people‑management role this position may evolve to include leadership responsibilities as the function grows.
Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • 10‑12 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, banking or equivalent fields.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects, re‑engineering sales processes and implementing new strategies.
