Director of Brand & Store Experience

This is a key strategic role responsible for elevating the full brand identity, in-store experience, and customer journey for one of their major lifestyle brands across the region.

This hire will shape how the brand looks, feels, and performs inside every store — from concept, branding and VM, to retail experience and premium positioning.

Role Overview

As Director of Brand & Store Experience, you will own the complete brand expression in physical retail. You’ll lead brand concept development, store identity, visual and experiential design, and collaborate closely with retail, operations and merchandising to bring a refreshed, high-impact customer experience to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the brand concept, visual identity and creative direction across all stores
  • Develop exceptional in-store customer experiences, layouts and brand storytelling
  • Partner with Retail/VM/Operations to improve store environments and customer flow
  • Drive brand consistency across multiple markets and store formats
  • Refresh brand guidelines and roll out seasonal concept updates
  • Elevate the brand towards a more premium, cohesive experience
  • Support strategic brand transformation or turnaround initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional execution of brand and store experience projects
Ideal Candidate
  • 10+ years’ experience in retail brand development, concept creation, store experience or VM
  • Strong background in fashion, lifestyle or outdoor retail
  • Proven experience improving or repositioning a retail brand
  • Deep understanding of in-store operations and customer behaviour
  • Strong creative direction skills with the ability to execute commercially
  • Experience leading multi-country rollouts (UAE/India experience an advantage)
  • Someone who has grown or built a brand from concept stage
  • Ecommerce background not required
Package
  • Salary range: 45,000 – 50,000 AED per month
  • Annual flights, bonuses
