Position: Director of Finance (Corporate Office)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports To: CEO
Team: 1 direct report (Corporate Finance Accountant)
Scope: Overseeing finance operations across UAE & KSA hotel portfolio
About the Role
Our client is a hotel management company, and they're looking for aDirector of Finance, who will oversee the consolidated financial operations for all managed hotels across the UAE and KSA.
Each property has its own finance department that submits monthly reports to the corporate office. The incumbent will lead the review process, analyze performance, identify improvement areas, and ensure accurate forecasting and financial governance across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with corporate strategy
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and USALI standards
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management across all entities
- Conduct monthly financial review meetings with hotel finance heads
- Provide analytical insight to support business decisions and improve profitability
- Manage cash flow, CAPEX, tax compliance, and insurance policies
- Liaise with ownership, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Guide and mentor finance teams to strengthen group-wide financial capability
- Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of senior-level finance experience in the hospitality industry (mandatory)
- Chartered Accountant or postgraduate degree in Finance/Accounting
- Strong background in IFRS, USALI, and audit practices
- Experience reporting to ownership or board-level stakeholders
- Familiarity with hospitality systems (SAP, Oracle, Opera, or SunSystems)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: AED 35,000 – 40,000 per month
- Family Status: Spouse + up to 2 children (under 18 years) – visa, medical insurance, and annual air tickets
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
