Qualifications

• 5-10 years product development/medical management experience.
• 2-4 years business unit or general management experience.
• Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
• External relationships with key scientists or medical professionals.
• Established and executed Medical Affairs and/or R&D plans.
• Industry product and customer knowledge required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and medical writing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Defines and implements medical strategies for Infectious Disease in EMEA.
• Creates and executes annual medical plan.
• Identifies and builds relationships with opinion leaders regionally.
• Writes study protocols; monitors progress; analyzes results; supports publications.
• Collaborates with other KOLs and leads medical communications.
• Prepares posters/abstracts and presents at major meetings in the region.
• Leads cross-functional teams for patient and physician education materials.
• Acts as liaison between Customers/Quality/Regulatory and technical groups.
• Leads Medical Affairs Managers across EMEA.
• Ensures compliance with Office of Ethics and Compliance guidelines.
• Establishes contacts with key scientists across EMEA.
• Contributes to product/technologies and OEM opportunities.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance medical utility and product claims.
