Job summary

SIRO One Za'abeel in Dubai is seeking a Director of Fitness to lead the Fitness and Recovery Labs, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving profitability in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will manage a multi-disciplinary team, develop innovative fitness programming, and partner with Marketing and Sales to grow memberships. The role requires a strong commercial mindset and a passion for wellbeing at the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury five‑star hospitality fitness or wellness.
• At least 2 years in a senior Fitness/Welness leadership role.
• Strong budgeting, financial performance, and service standards.
• Fluent English; other languages are an advantage.

About The Role

As Director of Fitness, you will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of the Fitness and Recovery Labs, ensuring the highest standards of service, guest engagement, and profitability. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary team including Fitness Managers, Personal Trainers, Recovery Specialists, and Nutrition professionals.

You will be responsible for developing innovative fitness programming, driving membership and revenue growth, managing budgets, maintaining operational excellence, and creating an environment where guests can achieve their wellness goals. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the SIRO fitness offering through industry-leading concepts, partnerships, and experiences.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading the overall operation of the Fitness and Recovery facilities.
• Driving financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue growth.
• Developing innovative fitness programs, classes, and member journeys.
• Ensuring exceptional guest and member satisfaction.
• Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing team.
• Partnering with Marketing and Sales to promote fitness offerings and memberships.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, cleanliness, and service.
• Staying ahead of industry trends and implementing new wellness initiatives.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a luxury, five-star hospitality fitness, wellness, or lifestyle environment.
• At least 2 years' experience in a senior Fitness, Wellness, or Spa leadership role.
• Strong experience managing budgets, commercial performance, and operational standards.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience in guest relations, membership growth, and service excellence.
• Strong administration and reporting capabilities.
• Experience using fitness management systems such as Mindbody is preferred.
• Internationally recognised diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in Fitness, Sports Science, Wellness, or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
