Job summary

Salt, Abu Dhabi-based, is seeking a Director – Advanced Technology to lead enterprise technology operations and strengthen digital resilience. This senior role requires shaping the technology operating model to align with business priorities and future growth.

You will oversee architecture, governance, and security, driving improvements in service delivery while balancing business needs with technical priorities. Arabic proficiency is required; PMP/CompTIA are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related discipline; postgraduate qualifications considered an advantage.
• Proven leadership experience managing broad technology environments including infrastructure, enterprise systems, applications, or digital services.
• Strong understanding of architecture, governance, information security, service delivery, and resilience.
• Ability to lead complex technology initiatives, resolve high-impact operational challenges, and balance business needs with technical priorities.
• Strong people leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial/vendor management capabilities within a complex organisational environment.
• Proficiency in Arabic is required; English capability and professional certifications such as PMP or CompTIA are advantageous.

• Build strong relationships with technology partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring suppliers, teams, and service providers deliver against agreed expectations.
