JOB TITLE: Digital Product Owner

TERM: 6 months

CLIENT LOCATION: Abu Dhabi UAE

DIVISION: Tech Implementation

REPORTS TO: Head of Digital Banking

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 5 years

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Certifications for Agile Scrum Master and Agile Product Owner
  • Experience in product management functions designing and developing digital solutions

PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To define and create Banks Consumer Digital Mobile offerings according to relevant product segment and channel requirements.
  • To contribute and enable the delivery of digital product solutions and portfolio that provide opportunities to grow the Banks business. Work as part of cross-functional teams in unison to develop digital solutions. To define, develop, and deliver customer-centric products that will elevate the Banks brand.

TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Own and manage the delivery of Mobile Banking across multiple delivery squads, driving innovation and the best customer experience in the market.
  • Own KPIs for driving digital usage activation and engagement in collaboration with user experience, sales, activation, and product teams.
  • Represent the interface and engage with the business and technology teams, acting as the voice of the market to create value-adding digital solutions.
  • Understand customer market and business needs, aligning them with the strategic direction of the business segment and organization.
  • Responsible for overall agile product development for mobile across the bank's services and products.
  • Build and manage the mobile banking requirements roadmap and backlog.
  • Gather information from stakeholders to develop product vision and roadmap.
  • Communicate clearly with all agile teams.
  • Manage product features from conception to delivery.
  • Act as the voice of business, making decisions that drive product development and unify efforts towards common goals.
  • Set the product roadmap for digital products.
  • Align stakeholders on priorities and features for releases.
  • Ensure strategic alignment within the department and with other units.
  • Motivate and collaborate with agile teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective communication to produce quality deliverables aligned with the product vision.
  • Align team objectives with business KPIs.
  • Collaborate with technical and business experts to meet requirements.
  • Promote organizational values and ethics within the team.
  • Contribute to budget planning for digital product development.
  • Implement and manage policies, procedures, and controls for the department.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead delivery of mobile banking solutions, managing roadmaps and backlogs.
  • Create requirements in epics, themes, and stories, guiding agile teams.
  • Define and execute build and launch plans for digital solutions.
  • Manage product release planning and stakeholder communication.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and market trends to leverage new technologies.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 5 years relevant experience in digital product management and development.
  • Experience in a software development environment using agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
  • Certifications in Agile Scrum Master and Agile Product Owner or similar disciplines.
