Job summary

CNN Business Arabic is seeking a Host & Presenter to develop, produce, and deliver high-quality multimedia content for its digital business platform in Dubai. You will blend editorial reporting with multimedia production, including reels, digital programs, interviews, and panel discussions.

You will craft ideas, research, script, and oversee production from capture to post-production while ensuring journalistic accuracy, brand consistency, and audience relevance across digital channels.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in digital media, journalism, or multimedia production.
• Strong understanding of business and financial topics.
• Proficiency in video editing software.
• Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills.
• Comfortable appearing on camera.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience producing live-stream events.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, media, communications, business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and pitch story ideas related to business, startups, finance, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
• Conduct and manage interviews with executives, founders, industry experts, and policymakers, including preparation of briefing notes and talking points.
• Write and edit scripts, articles, captions, and supporting editorial content while ensuring accuracy and adherence to journalistic standards.
• Cover events, press conferences, and business forums as required.
• Conceptualize, produce, and edit short-form video content (reels, explainers, highlights) optimized for digital platforms.
• Develop and produce short-format digital programs (5–15 minutes), including interviews and panel discussions.
• Plan and coordinate panel discussions, roundtables, and business debates, liaising with guests, moderators, and internal teams.
• Oversee production logistics including filming setup, audio, lighting, and post-production workflow.
• Present or host on-camera segments when required.
• Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to align content with audience growth objectives.
• Collaborate with digital team to monitor performance metrics and adapt storytelling formats to maximize reach and engagement.
• Ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging across all platforms.
• Stay informed on business trends and evolving digital media formats to enhance content strategy.
