Job summary

LNKD in Dubai, UAE seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to shape and own the bank's architecture direction across engineering and infrastructure. You will define the vision, govern standards, and drive modernization and cloud initiatives in a highly regulated digital banking environment.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business strategy into scalable, compliant architecture and oversee legacy modernisation, platform migration and tech governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture within banking or digital business.
• Proven track record owning architecture strategy and vision.
• Experience leading large digital transformation, cloud or modernization programs.
• Strong knowledge of TOGAF, Zachman or SABSA.
• Hands-on depth in AWS, Azure or GCP, microservices, API management, event-driven systems, DevOps and Agile.
• Understanding of core banking systems and financial services regulation.
• Experience in mature, regulated markets is valued.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, ITIL or COBIT are advantages.
• Strong communicator and leader who can influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise architecture vision and target-state roadmap for a digital-first bank.
• Design blueprints across application, data, infrastructure and security.
• Lead architecture governance and guide major technology initiatives.
• Act as the link between business and technology, translating strategy into scalable architecture.
• Lead legacy modernization, cloud adoption and platform migration.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption.
• Ensure architecture meets regulatory, security and privacy requirements.
