Job summary

Edison Smart is seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to join the Platform team in the UAE. You’ll build and ship security controls, enforce pipeline gates, and craft detection rules rather than producing compliance reports.

You’ll work alongside security, IT and AI teams, owning IAM and secrets in AWS and contributing to on-call rotations. Strong Kubernetes and AWS security experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in SRE or DevOps, with at least 2 years focused on security.
• Strong Kubernetes experience.
• Experience securing AWS environments and services.

Responsibilities

• Build shift-left security into CI/CD: IaC scanning, SAST, SCA, secrets scanning.
• Set up detection engineering: SIEM pipelines and custom detection rules.
• Own AWS identity, access and secrets management.
• Participate in the SRE on-call rotation.

You'll be a hands-on builder, shipping running controls, pipeline gates and detection rules rather than writing compliance reports. You'll work closely with the security, IT and AI teams.
