Job summary

TAT IT Technolgies is seeking an experienced DevOps AWS Kubernetes Engineer with a Microservices architecture background for a banking/finance project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will design and maintain cloud infrastructure, implement IaC, and manage container orchestration to support scalable microservices.

The role requires strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, OpenShift, and CI/CD tooling, with a focus on security, networking, and high availability across cloud and on‑prem environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and managing cloud infrastructure with AWS or Oracle Cloud.
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform and declarative tools.
• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).

We have an urgent requirement for DevOps AWS Kubernetes Engineer -with Microservices architecture in banking /Finance domain for one of the bank in Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments (AWS, Oracle Cloud) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, YAML) with strong networking and security practices. is THE MUST


• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift; ensure high availability, scalability, and seamless integration with microservices.is MUST


• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton, and modern automation tools to streamline deployments and improve developer productivity.is MUST


• Banking Domain is Must

The first round is a 1.5-hour online JavaScript test on Gorilla, which is mandatory.

• Job Overview:


• We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience working with containerization technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms. This role will involve managing and deploying highly available cloud infrastructure solutions, improving development processes, and ensuring the security and scalability of the systems.


• Key Responsibilities:


• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.


• Manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton, and other modern automation tools.


• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, YAML, and other declarative tools.


• Implement and manage container orchestration with Kubernetes and OpenShift.


• Ensure optimal networking and connectivity between cloud services and on-premise systems (VPN, firewalls).


• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between cloud infrastructure and backend/frontend services.


• Automate infrastructure processes to ensure efficient deployments, scaling, and monitoring.


• Manage the cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud, or other cloud platforms.


• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring uptime and minimal service disruptions.


• Evaluate, test, and integrate new technologies to streamline operations and enhance the stability of the platforms.


• Qualifications:


• Proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Oracle Cloud, or similar platforms.


• Strong knowledge of Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Tekton).


• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or GoLang.


• Experience with microservice architectures and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues across frontend and backend services.


• Excellent understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices in cloud environments.


• Hands‑on experience with Git, GitHub, and GitLab for code management and review.


• Strong problem‑solving skills, with a focus on automation and infrastructure optimization.


• Preferred Experience:


• Experience working in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or e-commerce.


• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.


• Experience with performance tuning and optimization for large‑scale systems handling high traffic.


• Education:


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Google Cloud, Oracle) or DevOps‑related tools are a plus
