Job description
Major duties and responsibilities

Design and implement processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, and analysis to enable informed business decisions

Utilize connectors, leverage the AI Builder, design Power BI dashboards, build canvas apps, build Power Apps portals, and leverage Power Automate to create business process flows

Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing

Develop information tools, apps, automation flows and queries to monitor and improve business performance using Power Platform

Create solutions from initial concept to production

Extract and compile various sources of information and large data sets from various systems to identify and analyze outliers

Set up processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending data

Use Agile best practice to design, develop, and maintain solutions built in enterprise applications platforms

Develop, document, and monitor application interfaces for enterprise applications and related integrations

Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform – MS PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI is required

Strong foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the Azure AD, Azure Functions and Azure ecosystem required

Strong knowledge on Azure DevOps and DTAP (Development, Test, Acceptance and Production) streams

Extensive experience in working on SharePoint Migration projects with at least prior migration experience on migrating On-Prem SharePoint Apps to SharePoint Online using SPFX and Classic interface

Extensive experience on working on RPA UiPath and demonstrated skills on automating complex workflows

Have Oracle Apex development background will be a plus with experience in designing pages and integrating with Fusion and third-party application in retrieving the data

Team management

While not a direct people manager, he/she manages processes and applications of the development.

Extent of work

Activities for the role will be performed in collaboration with Service Lines, Finance users, Business Unit Administrators, IT Security and IT team. The role may include managing external teams such as vendors, service providers, certifications bodies, as well as with collaborators from remote KPMG offices such as Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Riyadh and Global. Regular reporting weekly/monthly/quarterly performance review and feedback will be to Business Application Manager

Deliverables
  • Power Platform development projects executed according to project plan
  • Power Platform projects executed as per Global ITS standards
  • Performance standards at service level agreements set within KPMG
  • Ensure 100% compliance with IT security and audit recommendations prior to projects going live
Required skill and knowledge for the role
  • 4-6 years of professional experience, and general proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
  • Design, develop and support current applications within the Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate framework using both SQL database and SharePoint Online as data sources.
  • Analyze and convert new business requirements into technical specifications by collaborating with the stakeholders and IT Management, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Experience building Office 365 solutions including Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI, Dynamics 365
  • Experience with Visual Studio and TFS or other source control management tools.
  • Understanding of DAX programing language and Data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview is a plus
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Analysis Services, and/or SQL Server Integration Services a plus.
  • Develop and support SQL database objects (Stored Procedures and Views) and conduct performance analysis
  • Utilize connectors, leverage the AI Builder, design Power BI dashboards, build canvas apps, build Power Apps portals, and leverage Power Automate to create business process flows
  • Use Agile best practice to design, develop, and maintain solutions built in enterprise applications platforms
  • Expert knowledge of building web parts, apps, page layouts and content types using the O365 API
Knowledge / Technical Skills
  • Excellent grasp and experience of Power Platform
  • Well-versed in unit testing, systems testing and continuous integration, including extensive experience with standard development environments required to develop, validate and test
  • Understands security and identifies encryption and controls needed to protect information
  • Deep understanding of following technologies: PL/SQL, MSSQL, Stored Procedures, XML / XSL/XSLT, JSON, Web Services (SOAP and REST)
  • Experience building and testing products built in D365 such as (plugins, power automate workflow , integration), as well as Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSRS, SSAS and SSIS)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective listening skills
Education / Work experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer science / Engineering
  • Demonstrated professional experience (4+ years) with leading technology organizations and IT transformational initiatives
