Job summary

Aldar Education in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Teacher – Design Technology to join at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year in August. You will deliver high quality DT lessons in an international school context, supporting inclusive learning and student development.

Key responsibilities include planning, delivering engaging lessons, differentiating for mixed abilities, and supporting EAL and SEN pupils within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
• Experience in international schools and with EAL learners.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality DT lessons aligned to curriculum.
• Plan and prepare lessons with appropriate materials and schemes of work.
• Create engaging displays and manage classroom learning environment.
• Cater to whole-ability range and differentiate for individual needs.
• Support SEN (POD), EAL and G&T students through differentiation.
• Facilitate Hybrid / Distance Learning / Face to Face lessons.
