Job summary

A bespoke furniture company in Sharjah is seeking a Design & Production Coordinator to support design development and production oversight. Ideal candidates will have a background in Interior or Product Design, experience in creating 3D models, and strong material knowledge. This full-time role allows for a hybrid work setup, combining on-site visits with remote work, ensuring quality and facilitating client interactions.

Qualifications

Design & Production Coordinator

About the Role

We create bespoke furniture pieces that balance craftsmanship, luxury, and timeless design. We’re looking for a Design & Production Coordinator with a strong eye for design and detail to support our founder across design development, production oversight, and creative content.

This is a hands-on, design-driven role suited to someone who’s as comfortable creating 3D models and drawings as they are quality checking at the factory. You’ll help turn ideas into finished pieces ensuring every detail reflects our standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 2D shop drawings and 3D models in AutoCAD and SketchUp to bring custom designs to life.
• Render 3D models in D5, Lumion, or Revit.
• Prepare detailed furniture shop drawings.
• Visit factories and workshops (Sharjah) to check production at every stage — carpentry, paint, and upholstery.
• Review quality, finishes, and measurements before delivery.
• Schedule client deliveries and coordinate with logistics partners.
• Prepare, label, and organize samples (veneer, fabric, paint, hardware) for client approvals.
• Capture short video clips and behind-the-scenes content for social media.
• Assist with basic editing of Reels and visuals for Instagram.
• Maintain production trackers and timelines in Notion or Excel.

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Product Design, or Furniture Design.
• Professional proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and one or more rendering programs (3ds Max, D5, Lumion, or Revit).
• 2–5 years of experience in a furniture, design, or interiors-related environment.
• Strong material knowledge (veneer, PU paint, fabrics, hardware).
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Must have a valid UAE driving license and own car.
