Job summary

flydubai is seeking a Compliance Verification Engineer to manage day‑to‑day Design Organisation activities, ensuring alignment with CAR-21 Subpart J and the Design Organisation Handbook. You will lead airworthiness and certification efforts across the fleet.

You will maintain regulatory knowledge, coordinate with OEMs and TC holders, and develop resource plans to support design and certification outcomes, driving efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Engineering degree or ICAO Type 2 license required.
• Fluent in English.
• Minimum 5 years in a GCAA CAR-21 Subpart J / EASA Part 21 Subpart J environment, 3 years in Compliance Verification.
• Regulatory knowledge of GCAA CAR-21 Subpart J / EASA Part 21 Subpart J.
• Knowledge of initial airworthiness and environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Design Organisation activity for changes and modifications across the fleet.
• Maintain the Design Organisation Handbook and reflect regulatory updates.
• Ensure activities comply with Design Organisation Approval and Handbook.
• Lead airworthiness and certification matters per regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate third‑party design changes with stakeholders.
• Develop resource plans and competency assessments for design/certification work.
