Job summary

Al Tayer Stocks - Building & Interior Divisions is seeking an Architectural professional to coordinate design delivery with clients, external consultants and Project Managers, ensuring compliance with design intent until handover.

The role concentrates on developing concept and detail drawings, supervising progress, and ensuring on-time, accurate deliverables across interior fit-out projects, with hands-on liaison to site teams and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture with ability to prepare concept/detail drawings.
• Experience in interior fit-out projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of design development processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Landlords and ATG Managers to ensure timely handover of design deliverables.
• Assist in design and detailed development of projects, monitor progress and suggest design amendments or improvements.
• Ensure all required deliverables are provided on time and are accurate per the brief.
• Review client manuals/project applications to ensure site compliance.
• Liaise with Site team to ensure understanding of design information and provide support as needed.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance and generate design review reports.
• Advise Project Manager on problems, client complaints and required site adjustments or changes.
• Provide regular project progress reports to Project Manager.

Job description

To coordinate with the clients, external consultants and Project Managers to check and ensure that all design intent and specifications are adhered till handover of the project.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Effectively liaise with the Clients, Consultants, Landlords and ATG Managers in the design planning and ensure timely handover of complete and accurate design deliverables of given projects.
• To assist in the design and detailed development of given projects, monitor progress and offer suggestions on design amendments or improvements
• Ensure that all required deliverables are provided on time, are accurate and in accordance with the brief, including required variations or adjustments and other specified requirements / documentation
• Thoroughly review all allocated client manuals / project applications and ensure compliance on site
• To liaise with the Site team and ensure they have a proper understanding of information contained in the design documents and respond as and when required to provide additional or supporting design information relevant during the project development / execution
• Conduct regular site visits for observations and to ensure compliance checks on previously reviewed design work, as well as generate design review reports
• Advise the Project Manager on problems arising during the project, including all client complaints, errors in design or required site adjustments/ changes and offer suggestions
• To provide regular project progress reports to Project Manager as required

Education/Certification and Continued Education

• Degree in Architecture with good knowledge of preparing Concept/Detail drawings and designs gained through training or work experience, preferably in interior fit out projects

Years of Experience

• 2 -3 years of experience in operating AutoCAD with thorough expertise & knowledge to solve design and project execution problems, an added advantage
