Key Responsibilities

• Operate a derrick crane to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites.
• Inspect crane before and after use to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Communicate with site supervisors and team members to determine the best approach for lifting and moving materials.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.
• Ensure that all materials are properly secured and loaded onto the crane before lifting.
• Monitor and maintain the crane's mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and report any issues or malfunctions with the crane.
• Keep detailed records of daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Train and guide new crane operators as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications
