A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is seeking a Deputy Medical Director to provide clinical leadership and operational support. This role requires a Medical Degree and significant experience as a senior clinician, overseeing clinical services and ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality. The ideal candidate will balance clinical practice with leadership responsibilities and drive daily clinical operations.

Qualifications

  • At least 5-8 years’ experience as a senior clinician.
  • Relevant experience in hospital operations is desired.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide clinical leadership and guidance, including operational support to the team through the embedment and continuous improvement of clinical services, standards and governance aimed at achieving best in class patient safety and quality standards

Maintaining a balance between running an active clinical practice and performing clinical leadership and oversight for the business unit will be a standard part of the job

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the clinical team
  • Support the implementation of the business unit and group clinical strategy
  • Monitor, guide and improve quality management, clinical risk and governance processes both at business unit and corporate level
  • Drive and support the daily clinical operations of the clinical function for the business unit, including budgeting and financial monitoring
REQUIRED EDUCATION

Medical Degree with a speciality area from an accredited institution

Degree in business administration is an advantage

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 5-8 years’ experience as a senior clinician

Relevant experience in hospital operations is desired
