Overview

INITIATION, PROJECT PLANNING, MONITORING & CONTROL, MATERIAL MANAGEMENT, RISK MANAGEMENT, COST MANAGEMENT, CHANGE MANAGEMENT

Job is based in Abu Dhabi

Responsibilities
  • Review / Comment / Approve Main Contractor’s Cl.8.3 / Cl. 14/1 Program
  • Develop, Monitor and Control Scope Matrix & Finishing Schedule
  • Preparation of Cost loaded and Resource loaded schedule – to establish the Cash flow (S Curve) and Manpower Histogram (S Curve for Manhours/ Mandays)
  • Define and analyze Critical paths and Analyze the progress
  • Generate different Look ahead Schedules
  • Seek innovation in scheduling and execution plans that could improve project economics
  • Monitoring and Reporting the progress through S-Curve performance
  • Preparing periodic reports (Weekly, Monthly bases) and Management Information Systems (MIS) Reports e.g. Key Performance Indices (KPIs) etc.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects and can work under pressure
  • Develop & Track Materials Tracking log to control the delivery of the Materials to the site on time when required to avoid potential delays in procurement (mainly Long lead Items)
  • Identification of potential risks and advice solutions/ mitigations for it.
  • Perform Earn Value Analysis to measure the project performance in terms of cost
  • Evaluating Contractor’s Extension of Time requests and preparing recommendations to the Engineer
  • Managing subcontracts related to the projects to prevent / defense potential claims by subcontractors
  • Implement FIDIC conditions of contract in addressing & preparing time and cost related claims
  • Prepare Delay notices and interim time claims/ events implementing FIDIC, closely monitoring the event and then submit the Final Claim in liaise with Commercial Manager and Project Manager
  • Coordinate the Design Changes & CVIs (Confirmation of Verbal Instructions) and incorporate the same in the Cl. 8.3 Program (Baseline Schedule) to see the impacts of the changes and based on the same prepare the Extension of Time Claims (EOT)
  • Window Analysis or Time Impact study to analyze the delay over the entire schedule dividing it to windows with a selected duration, most commonly used is monthly.
