Qualifications

Our client is seeking a Deputy Head of Events to support the strategic planning and seamless execution of internal and external events. This role plays a key part in elevating the company’s brand through high-quality, innovative event experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Events to develop event strategies and calendars aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate events, including conferences, activations, VIP functions, and exhibitions.
  • Oversee logistics, supplier/vendor management, venue coordination, and event staffing.
  • Monitor event budgets, timelines, and performance indicators.
  • Gather feedback and insights to continuously improve event quality and engagement.
  • Serve as acting lead in the absence of the Head of Events.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Project management certification or experience is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and creative problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and event management tools/platforms.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of a second language is a plus.
