A prestigious restaurant in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled cook who specializes in Italian cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a culinary diploma and at least 2 years of experience in fine dining. Responsibilities include preparing dishes, managing food safety, and working with a team in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s Italian menu standards.
Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific kitchen section (e.g., pasta, grill, or antipasti).
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
Maintain portion control, minimize wastage, and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
Assist in the development and creation of new Italian menu items and specials.
Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations during service.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Follow standard recipes and maintain consistency in taste and presentation.
Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure service efficiency.
Attend and participate in daily briefings, training sessions, and tastings.
Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant or fine dining establishment.
Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, sauces, pastas, and regional specialties.
Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
Team-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
