The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in delegate sales, along with strong phone presentation skills and a positive attitude. Job description

Responsibilities

• Generate delegate sales revenue in line with agreed targets & objectives
• Work with assistant sales manager to ensure agreed KPIs are met on a consistent basis
• Ensure that goals and targets are met
• Identify telesales and delegate sales potential market growth opportunity
• Responsible for delegate profiling for each event selling (identifying job titles relevant to each event selling)
• Help build rapport with existing and build new clientele database
• Work closely with Producers, Marketing and Sponsorship team working on the same events to ensure targets are met

Qualifications

• Experience in conference sales, business‑to‑business sales, media sales, ad sales, intangible sales, consultative selling, publishing, trade show sales, interactive media sales and/or event sales preferred.
• Strong phone‑based presentation skills
• Positive attitude
• Confident contract negotiator able to work with senior level executives
• Minimum of 1 year of delegate sales experience preferably in the conference industry
• Ability to work independently and be self‑driven
• Excel at managing multiple tasks at one time and perform in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment
• General administrative functions
