Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in academic leadership at an accredited university.
• Distinguished record of research, teaching, and service in education.
• Strong connections with educational institutions, government agencies, and community partners.
• Proven ability in strategic planning, faculty development, and student success initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to advance the college’s mission in teacher education, research, and policy development.
• Oversee curriculum development and program quality, including accreditation processes.
• Recruit, mentor, and support faculty members and promote scholarship.
• Foster a strong research culture and secure external funding.
• Enhance student engagement, retention, and career readiness.
• Strengthen partnerships with K-12 schools, government agencies, and industry.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation; advocate for funding opportunities.
• Engage in educational policy discussions at regional and national levels.
• Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all programs.
• Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive advancement and fundraising aligned with university mission.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
