Job summary

Via Medica International in Dubai seeks a DCAS Licensed Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. You will provide pre-hospital care, stabilize patients, and ensure safe transport while upholding the highest patient-care standards.

The role requires a valid DCAS Paramedic License, 2+ years of EMS experience, BLS/ACLS certifications, and the ability to work rotating shifts. PALS is a plus; UAE driving license preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid DCAS Paramedic License required.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine or EMS.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or equivalent.
• PALS certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Paramedic.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work rotating shifts.
• Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
• Assess patients' conditions and provide pre-hospital care.
• Perform BLS and ALS interventions per DCAS scope.
• Administer medications per DCAS protocols.
• Transport patients to healthcare facilities and monitor status.
• Operate and maintain ambulances and equipment.
• Complete patient care reports and documentation.
• Communicate with dispatchers, hospitals, and EMS agencies.
• Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations and infection control.
• Participate in drills and continuing professional development.
• Maintain readiness of vehicles and medical supplies.
