Job summary

SAAL.ai seeks a Data Scientist to apply machine learning and deep learning techniques across numeric and text analytics. You will work across the full data science lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to deliver customer-centric AI solutions.

You will develop pipelines, explore NLP transformer models, and deploy models via APIs and containers, contributing to scalable data processing and platform expansion.

Qualifications

• Strong ML/DL theory and practice for structured and unstructured data.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Proficiency in Python; Java or R desirable.
• Experience exposing models via RESTful APIs and Docker deployments.
• Strong coding practices and clean, maintainable code.
• Experience in NLP with transformer models (Hugging Face, spaCy, Gensim).
• Familiarity with SQL, Pandas, Spark, and scalable data processing.
• Experience with ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication; able to explain technical concepts.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver ML/DL models across analytics use cases.
• Understand AI model constraints within products and apply appropriate techniques.
• Acquire data from diverse sources, preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Identify data sources and automate data collection processes.
• Build and maintain ML pipelines; integrate models into platform.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps for deployment.
• Contribute to applied research and roll out AI solutions to trials and GA.
