Job summary

Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions seeks a data engineering and analytics specialist to design and optimize data pipelines, create Tableau and Power BI dashboards, and deliver analytics and ML solutions that accelerate AI innovation and data-driven decision‑making.

The role focuses on developing predictive analytics, exploring data, and documenting data models and code, with emphasis on governance and reusable assets across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL/MySQL for data transformation and modeling.
• Strong expertise in Tableau and Power BI for dashboards and KPI governance.
• Knowledge of EDA, statistical techniques, and ML concepts including feature engineering.
• Experience building analytics solutions and prototypes using Streamlit or similar tools.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools and version control (Git/GitHub, Jupyter/Colab, VS Code, PyCharm).
• Demonstrates analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL/MySQL.
• Create and maintain interactive Tableau and Power BI dashboards with governed KPIs.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights for decisions.
• Develop and evaluate predictive analytics and ML models using scikit-learn.
• Build lightweight analytics apps and proof-of-concept solutions with Streamlit.
• Support AI, NLP, and Generative AI initiatives with experiments and prototypes.
• Maintain documentation for data models, dashboards, and code with governance.
• Deliver reporting-ready datasets and reusable analytical assets with documented outcomes.
