Job summary

RecruitMe Plus represents a client in Abu Dhabi seeking a DPS Resident Engineer to lead Data Protection & Back-Up Systems and optimization. The role covers end-to-end DPS processes, ensuring data availability, integrity, and reliable recovery across systems.

You will monitor DPS and backup platforms, perform capacity planning, migrations, retention, and contribute to security controls. Strong English, team collaboration, and a proactive attitude are required to mentor staff and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Software engineering or similar.
• Solid experience in data management.
• Background in IT security is desirable.
• Experience with DPS/Back-Up platforms recommended.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain DPS backup systems.
• Capacity planning and data tiering.
• Assist in data migration, archiving, and retention.
• Ensure data availability, integrity, and backup/recovery.
• Support incident resolution and escalate to L3.
• Document configurations and procedures.
