Job summary

Dicetek LLC is seeking a senior data governance professional to develop and implement governance frameworks aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include conducting regular quality assessments, improving data integrity, and facilitating data stewardship programs with clear ownership and accountability across units. The role also entails maintaining data dictionaries and metadata repositories to provide context for data assets.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure that data management practices align with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular data quality assessments to identify issues and recommend actionable improvements, enhancing the integrity and reliability of data. Facilitate data stewardship programs by collaborating with business units to define data ownership, accountability, and best practices. Create and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries and metadata repositories to provide clear definitions and context for data assets.

Required Skills & Experience

max 8–11 years in data governance, data management, or data quality roles.

• Expert‑level hands‑on experience with Axon – workflow design, modeling, user management, reporting
• Proven practical experience in data lineage using Axon, Informatica, or similar tools
• Proven track record in data quality – rule definition, profiling, monitoring, and remediation
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and metadata management concepts
• Experience working with stakeholders across business and IT to resolve ambiguous data ownership
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, and data classification frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Axon certification or equivalent platform certification
• Experience with metadata ingestion from Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica, dbt, Tableau
• Exposure to data catalog and governance platforms and integration between Axon and other tools
• Background in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries is a plus
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
