Job description
The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to support our Supply Chain and Procurement team. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately input, maintain, and update procurement and supply chain data into our systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work with large volumes of data in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Enter and update procurement data including purchase orders, vendor information, item details, delivery schedules, and inventory records.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and inventory levels.
  • Assist in processing purchase requests and verifying required documentation.
  • Upload and manage supplier documents (invoices, delivery notes, quotations, etc.) in the ERP or procurement system.
  • Reconcile received goods with purchase orders and report discrepancies.
  • Generate regular reports on procurement status, inventory movement, and supplier performance.
  • Support the team in data cleanup, system migration, or audit preparation as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity and maintain confidentiality of sensitive procurement information.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to gather missing or incomplete data.
  • Perform other clerical or administrative tasks to support the procurement and supply chain team.
Requirements
  • Education : High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience : 1–2 years of data entry experience, preferably in a supply chain, procurement, or logistics environment. Technical Skills :
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with procurement software is a plus. Soft Skills :
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently.
