As a Data Engineer at Systems Limited based onsite in Dubai, you will lead the implementation and continuous optimization of enterprise data integration pipelines and advanced Data Fabric platforms. Working in close collaboration with enterprise data architects, analytics squads, solution engineers, and business stakeholders, you will build resilient, automated data fabrics that connect disparate data sources across on‑premises data centers and multi‑cloud environments.

Your core engineering mandate encompasses designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing active metadata management, deploying automated data quality frameworks, and integrating knowledge graphs and semantic layers. You will leverage distributed data platforms to process large‑scale structured and semi‑structured datasets, particularly those generated by high‑volume telecommunications infrastructure such as call detail records, network telemetry, and customer touchpoints. Additionally, you will establish zero‑trust data access policies, optimize complex SQL and distributed queries, govern real‑time streaming interfaces, and enforce rigorous enterprise data governance standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, engineer, deploy, and maintain unified enterprise Data Fabric architectures to facilitate seamless, real‑time data access across distributed environments.
• Build and optimize scalable, automated ETL/ELT data pipelines integrating heterogeneous on‑premises systems and multi‑cloud platforms.
• Implement active metadata management, automated data cataloging, and semantic knowledge graphs to streamline enterprise data discovery.
• Architect and manage high‑volume data ingestion pipelines tailored for complex telecommunications network telemetry and transaction datasets.

• Mandatory, hands‑on experience architecting, implementing, or administering enterprise Data Fabric architectures and active metadata frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is a strict mandatory prerequisite for this position.
• Advanced programming and scripting proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for large‑scale data manipulation and pipeline automation.
• Deep technical expertise in SQL and relational, dimensional, and distributed data modeling (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).
