Job summary

Amana Group in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design end-to-end data products across multiple layers and enterprise sources. You will build robust ingestion from Oracle Fusion, SAP, CMiC, and more, and lead migration efforts in Synapse Analytics to Databricks.

You will implement data quality, governance, and security controls, optimize Spark/SQL performance, and enable AI/Analytics by delivering feature tables and AI-ready datasets in collaboration with data

Qualifications

5+ years hands-on data engineering experience, incl. 2+ years with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake in production.
Designed and delivered end-to-end data products for one or more business domains.
Experience integrating enterprise sources such as Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or CMiC, incl. incremental and API-based extraction.
Data quality and access controls implemented using Unity Catalog, Microsoft Purview, or equivalent tooling.
Strong SQL, Python, and PySpark, with Git-based CI/CD delivery (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences.
Required certifications: Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or Microsoft Azure Databricks DP-750; Databricks Professional within 12 months; Fabric DP-700/DP-600/DP-203 (retired) as applicable.
