Job summary

Amana Group seeks an AI Engineer to design, build and run AI applications and predictive models on Microsoft Azure and Databricks lakehouse. You will drive governance, security, and cost efficiency while delivering production-grade AI solutions across the organization.

You will mentor team members, collaborate with finance, projects, procurement, HSE and HR, and ensure models are robust, auditable and scalable within Amana's AI Centre of Excellence.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in ML/AI or software engineering.
• Experience shipping generative AI or agent apps on Foundry, Azure OpenAI or equivalent.
• Strong Python and SQL with experience building web apps or APIs.
• Security and responsible AI practices applied in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI solutions on Microsoft Foundry and Databricks lakehouse.
• Develop and evaluate predictive models including forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Ensure governance, security, and cost controls across AI deployments.
• Collaborate with Data Governance Office and Stakeholders to document use cases.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists in AI engineering practices.
• Monitor deployed models for drift and performance; retrain as needed.
