Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in data security, data governance, or IT auditing.
• Experience in data classification and labeling processes.
• Ability to clearly explain security rules to clients and internal teams.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented when handling sensitive documents.

Responsibilities

• Label and Organize Data: Scan databases to apply correct security labels.
• Manage Security Tools: Set up and run data tools (e.g., Purview, IDMC) for scanning and tagging.
• Prepare Client Reviews: Create reports showing data classification and protection.
• Host Audits: Act as technical contact for client reviews of tools/files.
• Fix Security Gaps: Collaborate with IT and DB teams to fix mislabels.
