Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Project Manager – MEP to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. You will lead delivery of high-spec Data Centre projects, coordinating with clients, consultants and contractors to meet milestones and quality standards.

The role emphasizes strong MEP knowledge, senior stakeholder engagement and a proven track record in complex construction. You will drive planning, risk mitigation and on-site management within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Building Services or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in project management and MEP delivery, preferably within complex Data Centre construction projects.
• Proven experience delivering built-asset projects from design through construction and completion.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes and project delivery within technically complex environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project activities in line with established project objectives, including the preparation of project plans, programmes, schedules and reporting requirements.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of small-scale projects and support the delivery of medium- and large-scale projects, reporting to the Project Lead.
• Identify project risks, issues and opportunities, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery.
• Assist with the preparation, management and monitoring of project programmes and key milestones.
• Prepare and manage project management scope deliverables in accordance with client requirements.
• Manage change control processes, ensuring changes are appropriately assessed, documented and communicated.
• Manage and monitor project processes, procedures and governance requirements.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across all project stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and other project parties.
• Ensure the timely and accurate collection, analysis and reporting of project data, performance information and key metrics.
• Apply technical knowledge and industry experience to support the effective management and coordination of project consultants and contractors.
• Support the Project Lead in managing project requirements, priorities and key deliverables.
• Provide construction management support on site, ensuring works are progressing in accordance with the approved programme, quality standards and project requirements.
• Promote a collaborative approach across project teams, supporting effective communication, coordination and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
