Job summary

A leading technology service firm is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance work in Fujairah, UAE. The position supports mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. Responsibilities include hardware installations, structured cabling, troubleshooting, and documentation. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of relevant experience and strong cabling skills. Flexibility in scheduling is offered, and rates range from AED75 to AED110 per hour depending on experience and project demands.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong skills in structured cabling, both copper and fiber optic.
• Experience with server hardware like Dell, HP, or Supermicro.
• Ability to work in raised floor environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling and conduct server racking.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and document all work.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
