Job summary

Unified Consultancy Services is seeking a Data Center Passive Technician in the UAE for onsite engagement in Dubai. The role focuses on hands-on racking and stacking, cabling, and passive infrastructure within enterprise data centers.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, ensuring safety and compliance, and performing basic troubleshooting of passive infrastructure. 2-5 years of related experience is preferred for this contract role.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of data center passive support experience.
• Experience with racking, stacking, cabling, and passive infrastructure setup.
• Ability to lift and install hardware safely.
• Follow DC safety, compliance, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform racking and stacking of servers, switches, storage, and other DC equipment
• Fiber & copper structured cabling, patching, labeling, and testing
• Rack mounting, cable routing, cable management
• Basic troubleshooting of passive infra and DC environment
• Maintain installation logs, rack layouts, and documentation
• Strong understanding of rack installation, cabling standards, and DC airflow management

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform racking and stacking of servers, switches, storage, and other DC equipment
• Fiber & copper structured cabling, patching, labeling, and testing
• Rack mounting, cable routing, cable management
• Basic troubleshooting of passive infra and DC environment
• Follow DC safety, compliance, and standards
