Job summary

India Abroad in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE seeks an experienced Data Analyst to join the team. You will create data-driven solutions, monitor data accuracy, and support decision making through reports and visualizations. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with database management and development.

The ideal candidate has experience with SQL databases and data visualization tools, and can collaborate across departments to meet requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server is preferred.
Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and an understanding of statistical methods are essential for this role.
Ability to write SQL queries is essential for success in this position.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written are necessary for successful collaboration with other departments.

Responsibilities

Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns in data sets.
Design, develop, maintain and implement databases in order to ensure accuracy of data.
Develop reports based on gathered information to support decision making processes.
Create visualizations of complex data sets in order to promote better understanding of results.
Identify potential areas for improvement within the system and develop strategies to address them.
Collaborate with other departments in order to ensure that all requirements are met.
Ensure that all databases are up to date with relevant information at all times.
