Job summary

Amazon is seeking an ICQA Data Analyst to build data collection processes, manage data systems, and create reports that reveal root causes of defects and inventory adjustments. You will work across ICQA, Learning, and Finance to provide analytical support and drive data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include designing SQL queries, dashboards in QuickSight, and Python-based automation, plus presenting insights to leadership and supporting cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data storytelling abilities.
• Experience communicating with leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing large data projects end-to-end.
• Ability translating business needs into data solutions.
• Preferred: experience training/deploying ML systems.

The Data analysts play a crucial role in creating unique reports from data available in multiple locations and providing vital insights into the root cause of quality defects and inventory adjustments. ICQA Data Analyst will work closely with the ICQA, Learning and Finance departments to provide data and analytical support for the business.

Key job responsibilities

• Development of data collection processes and data management systems


• Designing of queries, compiling of data, and generation of reports in SQL

Qualifications

• Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities


• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams


• Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish, including project management, data gathering and modeling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations


• Experience understanding needs of business and end customers and translating them into right solutions


• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissionsPreferred Qualifications:- Experience with training and deploying machine learning systems to solve large-scale optimizations, or experience in development or technical support
