Job summary

Revolut in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Data Analyst to join our data team and help turn complex datasets into actionable insights for finance and product teams.

You will work on end-to-end data delivery, ETL processes, dashboards, and reporting; strong Python/SQL skills, 4+ years, and a background in a quantitative discipline are essential; looker/trino/airflow beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handling finance-related requests and providing ongoing data support.
• Managing the end-to-end delivery of data for MIS, regulatory reporting, and other operational reports.
• Performing data mapping and discovery to identify and document relevant data sources and business requirements.
• Executing ETL processes to ensure data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded for reporting and analysis.
• Designing key metrics to measure different aspects of the business, using data management tools to create more effective financial processes.
• Ensuring the integration and maintenance of new business into existing financial reporting systems, controls, and processes.
• Working with controllers to improve dashboards to track metrics, visualise insights, and identify business drivers.
• Developing and maintaining key relationships across the Finance team.
• Promoting data literacy across the company, organising and holding workshops.

About The Role

Our Data Science team solves complex problems with smart, practical solutions. Data Analysts and Scientists work directly with product teams to uncover insights, guide decisions, and improve how customers experience Revolut. They do this by delivering smart, scalable solutions that move the business forward. We’re looking for a Data Analyst who can dig into our complex databases, look for the root cause of a problem, and design their own solutions by writing code to implement them. What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need

• 4+ years of experience in a data analysis role
• Great skills with Python and SQL
• A solid background/education in a quantitative discipline
• To be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to deliver under tight timeframes

Nice to have

• A background in finance (ideally within a bank) and/or regulatory reporting experience
• Experience preparing reports for external parties/authorities
• Familiarity with Airflow, Trino, and Looker
• Skills in other programming languages (Java, Scala, C++, etc.)
