Job summary

British Dance Academy LLC in Dubai is recruiting two full-time Dance Teachers to join our team from January 2027. We seek experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers with a strong background in Classical Ballet and a passion for delivering high-quality dance education.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional dance teaching experience.
• Strong technical background in Classical Ballet.
• Recognised Ballet teaching qualification and/or degree in Dance or Performing Arts.
• Experience teaching younger children across ages.
• Experience preparing students for Ballet examinations.
• Ability to teach Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop or AcroDance; advantageous.
• Knowledge of the BBO Dance syllabus advantageous.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured dance lessons for children of different ages and abilities.
• Teach Classical Ballet per curriculum and standards.
• Prepare students for Ballet examinations, performances and events.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and the academy team.
• Support ongoing development and educational standards.

British Dance Academy is recruiting two full-time Dance Teachers to join our team in Dubai from January 2027.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated Dance Teachers with a strong background in Classical Ballet and a passion for delivering high-quality dance education.

British Dance Academy is the exclusive British Ballet Organisation (BBO Dance) examination centre in the UAE, offering students the opportunity to work towards internationally recognised dance qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, structured dance lessons for children of different ages and abilities.
• Teach Classical Ballet in accordance with the academy’s curriculum and teaching standards.
• Prepare students for Ballet examinations, performances and other academy events.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, supportive and professional learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and the academy team.
• Support the academy’s ongoing development and educational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional dance teaching experience.
• Strong technical background in Classical Ballet.
• Recognised Ballet teaching qualification and/or degree in Dance or Performing Arts.
• Experience teaching younger children and a range of age groups.
• Experience preparing students for Ballet examinations.
• Ability to teach additional dance genres, including Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop or AcroDance, would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the BBO Dance syllabus would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
