Job summary

Melodica is seeking an experienced Dance Academy Manager to lead the operational, commercial and educational performance of our dance division, driving student growth, retention, teacher performance and overall academy profitability. The role is based in Dubai and involves overseeing teaching teams, curriculum delivery, and student outcomes.

You will coordinate classes, examinations and showcases while partnering with Marketing and branch teams to grow the academy and ensure safe, inclusive

Qualifications

• Dance teaching experience with responsibility for coaching teachers and leading a programme or managing an academy team.
• RAD certification is required; experience preparing students for RAD examinations.
• Experience developing curricula, assessing student progression and delivering recitals or showcases.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach and evaluate Dance Teachers; set clear expectations for teaching quality, student experience and commercial performance.
• Develop a progressive curriculum and class programme suited to student ages, abilities and dance disciplines; maintain consistent teaching and assessment standards.
• Review enrolment, attendance, student progress and withdrawal trends; work with teachers and Front Desk teams to address concerns and improve retention.
• Plan classes and teacher deployment with branch teams to improve use of available teaching hours and studio capacity.
• Coordinate RAD examination preparation, readiness assessments and entries; support other relevant examination pathways where offered.
• Organise showcases and recitals with operational teams, encouraging participation and providing clear communication to families.
• Support academy growth through class proposals, trial-to-enrolment conversion and partnerships with Marketing and branch teams.
• Maintain safe, inclusive teaching practices and escalation of student welfare or safeguarding concerns through company procedures.
