Job summary

Apt Resources | Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Dairy Cattle Veterinarian to join a professional dairy farm operation in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will manage cattle health, herd productivity, disease prevention, and veterinary care to sustain the dairy herd.

You will diagnose and treat livestock, develop vaccination and herd health programs, oversee reproduction and calving, maintain veterinary records, and advise on biosecurity and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Valid UAE veterinary license or eligibility to obtain the required UAE license.
• Proven experience in dairy cattle or large-animal veterinary practice.
• Strong knowledge of herd health management, reproduction, and cattle disease prevention.
• Experience in commercial dairy farm operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the health, welfare, and productivity of dairy cattle.
• Diagnose, treat, and prevent livestock diseases and infections.
• Develop and implement vaccination, deworming, and herd health programs.
• Oversee reproductive health, breeding, pregnancy diagnosis, and calving management.
• Manage treatment protocols, veterinary records, and medication inventory.
• Advise farm management on biosecurity, nutrition, disease control, and animal welfare.
• Respond to veterinary emergencies and coordinate with farm staff on proper animal care.
