Job summary

OpenText in Dubai is seeking a Solution Consultant to cover the Middle East in Application Security. The role is based in Dubai, focusing on shaping cybersecurity roadmaps and proposing openText-based security solutions to clients.

You will present, demo, and architect security architectures, lead POC activities, and contribute to sales strategy with a strong emphasis on ROI and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity presales or solutions consulting.
• Strong experience in Application Security and related OpenText solutions.
• Lead in Cybersecurity Enterprise portfolio pillars: SecOps, AppSec, DataSec, IAM.
• Hands-on with Dynamic/Static App Testing, data encryption, masking or tokenization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product presentations and technical sessions to prospects, clients and partners.
• Conduct live demos of OpenText Application Testing and Data Privacy/Protection solutions.
• Lead Proofs of Concept (POC) engagements with customers.
• Respond to RFx/RFP requests and tailor security architectures to client needs.
• Architect security solutions aligned with client business goals and ROI.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Your Impact

OpenText is seeking a highly motivated and qualified professional for a Solution Consultant role to cover the Middle East region in Application Security areas. The role will be based in Dubai, UAE. As an OpenText Cybersecurity Solution Consultant, you will influence and make a difference in the cybersecurity roadmaps of our clients in the application security domain, identify their specific needs, and propose innovative solutions to support a secure transformation strategy. To succeed, you must have a deep understanding of security principles, architectures, competitive products, and security designs.

• Product presentations and technical sessions for prospects, clients and partners in the Application Security Testing domain
• Live demos of OpenText Application Testing and Data Privacy and Protection solutions
• Orchestrating successful Proof of Concepts
• Addressing responses to RF(X) responses
• Expertise in the Data Privacy & Protection is a plus
• Design comprehensive security architectures based on client requirements
• Build and maintain a healthy, positive relationship with key client and partners
• Representing OpenText at trade shows and events, also as a public speaker
• Be a key sparring partner for sales and management

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum of 5 years of field experience as a cybersecurity presales, sales development, presales, solutions consulting roles.
• Strong experience on Application Security practices, preferably with knowledge on OpenText solutions in this space.
• The lead solutions consultant should present all the pillars under the Cybersecurity Enterprise portfolio, SecOps, AppSec, DataSec, and IAM solutions take a lead role in the C-level meetings,
• Hands-on experience on one or more applications or data security solutions: Dynamic and Static Application Testing or Data Encryption, Masking, Tokenization, Data discovery and classification
• Robust knowledge of information security fundamentals, market analysis, and product verticals (architectural design, technology, implementation)
• Strong fluency in AI concepts such as LLMs, MCPs etc…
• Excellent solution presentation skills, Desire to implement and customize OpenText Application Testing and Data discovery and protection solutions in Proof of Concept (POC) activities
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, databases, networking fundamentals, and container-based deployment technologies
• Ability to communicate the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals
• Good knowledge of and relationship to the local IT security market (system integrators, resellers, and distributors are desirable)
• Existing hands‑on skills with any OpenText Fortify and/or Voltage solutions
• CISSP, CDPSE, CISM, CEH or similar certifications
